ABOUT DR. ALEKS

I care about making pelvic health make sense.

Hi, I’m Dr. Aleks.

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy focused on pelvic health, with additional experience in pain neuroscience, nervous system regulation, movement, yoga, and women’s health.

The thread through all of it is simple:

Women deserve thoughtful care and better information about symptoms that are too often minimized, misunderstood, or brushed off.

I want you to leave my corner of the internet knowing more about your body than when you arrived.

And hopefully feeling a little less intimidated by your pelvic floor in the process.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO ME

I didn't come to this work from textbooks alone.

My professional training gave me the science. My own experiences with pelvic health challenges, body image, burnout, and feeling disconnected from my body gave me another perspective entirely.

I know how easy it is to start treating your body like a problem to solve when something feels wrong. And I know how frustrating it can be when you have questions but no one has given you language that actually helps.

Those experiences shaped the way I practice today.

I care about the clinical details, but I also care about whether you feel heard, whether the information makes sense, and whether the advice actually fits into your life.

Because good pelvic health care should do more than hand you a list of exercises.

It should offer support, clarity, and the kind of education so many of us were never given about our bodies.

MY APPROACH: I look at more than one muscle

The pelvic floor does not work in isolation.

Breathing, pressure, movement, coordination, pain, habits, stress, and the nervous system can all influence what you feel.

Sometimes strength matters.

Sometimes relaxation matters.

Often, the bigger question is how all of those pieces are working together.

That’s why I don’t believe in one size fits all pelvic health advice.

My approach is about looking at the full picture, explaining what may be contributing to your symptoms, and giving you practical information you can use in real life.

KIND WORDS FROM GOOGLE

“She knows EXACTLY what she is doing and she is an excellent therapist. I would recommend her to anyone needing PFT.”

- Karla E., retired RN

“I was very nervous about getting help with my pelvic floor concerns, and honestly a little embarrassed. She was able to walk me through the process calmly and clearly with no judgement. She is very knowledgeable and clear with instructions.”

- Piper T.

WHEN I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT PELVIC FLOORS

You can usually find me enjoying:

Slow mornings

Cappuccinos with just the right foam

Pink sunsets

Long walks outside with my two spoiled pups

Tacos and Polish food

Being out in nature

Deep conversations

Cozy, neutral everything

And yes, I will probably stop to smell the roses.

IF YOU ARE NEW HERE..

You don't need to have all the right words to start learning about your body.

Maybe you found me because you are dealing with leaking. Maybe urgency is running your day. maybe your pelvic floor feels tense, painful, or confusing. Maybe pregnancy or postpartum changed things and no one really explained what happened.

Or maybe you are simply realizing there is a lot about pelvic health you were never taught.

You are welcome here.

Start with the free bladder training, explore my free resources, or keep learning with me.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING MORE PERSONAL?

Sometimes reading, watching, and learning on your own only gets you so far.

If you feel like there is more to your symptoms and you want a space to talk through what you are experiencing with someone who will listen, ask the right questions, and look at the bigger picture with you, I would love to hear from you.

Private pelvic health coaching is available by inquiry.

And if you’re reaching out about a workshop, interview, or collaboration, or podcast you are welcome here too.
