Your Questions, Answered.
What is pelvic floor coaching?
My coaching style is a holistic, empowerment-driven approach designed to help women connect with their bodies, cultivate self-love, and prioritize self-care. Through intentional and personalized practices, mindful movement, and emotional support, I guide clients in building body awareness and integrating self-care practices that foster long-term wellness. This journey not only enhances pelvic health but also nurtures a deeper connection to oneself, leading to a more empowered and fulfilling life.
How is pelvic floor coaching different from pelvic floor physical therapy?
Pelvic floor physical therapy is medical care. It involves evaluation, diagnosis, and clinical treatment.
Pelvic floor coaching focuses on education and guidance that helps you understand how your pelvic floor works and how daily habits influence its function.
Although I am a licensed physical therapist, within this practice I offer coaching services only, not physical therapy treatment.
If you require medical care or diagnosis, I encourage you to seek care from a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist.
What pelvic floor concerns do you help with?
Many women begin exploring pelvic health because they notice things like:
• leaking with coughing, running, or jumping
• strong urinary urgency
• pelvic tension or heaviness
• discomfort with intercourse or tampons
• feeling unsure how to properly engage or relax the pelvic floor

Understanding how the pelvic floor works within the larger system of the body can often bring clarity to these experiences..
Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?
No.

Many women simply notice that something feels off in their body or that symptoms keep repeating without clear answers.
You do not need a formal diagnosis to begin learning about your pelvic floor and how it functions.
Why do pelvic floor symptoms often keep coming back?
Many women are told their pelvic floor is either weak or tight.
So they try strengthening.
Or stretching.
Or a mix of both.

But the pelvic floor is part of a pressure system that works together with your breath, abdominal wall, and nervous system. If that coordination is off, symptoms like leaking, urgency, or pelvic tension can continue even when exercises are done correctly.

Understanding this bigger system is often the missing piece.
I’ve already tried exercises. Why would this be different?
Exercises can be helpful, but they are only one part of pelvic floor function.

The pelvic floor responds to breathing patterns, pressure management, stress, and daily habits. If those pieces are not addressed, exercises alone often fall short.

Many women discover that the issue was never just strength or flexibility. It was coordination.
Are your sessions virtual or in person?
Most sessions and programs are offered virtually, allowing women to participate from anywhere.
This also makes it easier to apply what you learn within your real daily environment.
Where should I start if I’m new to pelvic health?
If you are just beginning, education is often the best first step.
The Pelvic Floor Basics Masterclass explains how the pelvic floor actually works and why symptoms like leaking, urgency, and pelvic tension happen.

From there, many women choose to go deeper through programs or private coaching.
How can I work with you?
There are a few ways to begin depending on what level of support you are looking for.
You can start with educational resources like the Pelvic Floor Basics Masterclass, explore online programs, or apply for private coaching.
